Looms UK has formally opened it’s doors to offer workwear clothing with a high-quality embroidery service.

Director, Amit Mandalia heads the business which is located in Leicester. His knowledge of the fashion & garments trade is best practised by working within his additional family business which is De’Mandalia & Co, this is the company behind some of the largest clothing retailers in the UK. Manufacturing for the likes of Hype, Asos, Boden & Austin Reed.

The idea to form a business that services the workwear industry came from supplying good quality clothing to this field. Small and large businesses within the UK look to brand the clothes with their logo. Amit saw a gap in the market for good-quality embroidery with workwear clothing that is already manufactured by his other company. This means customers of Looms UK can benefit from cost priced high-quality workwear with an embroidery service all under one roof. This saves time and costs for both Looms UK and it’s customers.

Amit’s vision for 2020 is to work with local & national brands to offer them a more personalised service from a family-run business that has been in the manfucatuing trade for two-generations. The pedigree comes from Amit’s father, Chiman Mandalia who is considered one of the pioneers of manufacturing jeans for Next & George within the early 1990’s .

Looms UK are open for business and look to create new partnerships with local & national businesses across the UK.
